反課綱學生自殺身亡，上百名反課綱群眾昨天（30號）晚間到教育部前哀悼，學生下通牒，要求部長吳思華在凌晨1點前下台，到了凌晨1點半，得不到回應，兵分二路，推翻拒馬，闖入教育部廣場，高喊「吳思華下台」。警方利用人牆，圍住教育部主體，這是教育部一周內2次遭抗議群眾攻陷。(陳映竹報導)
反課綱群眾抗議行動再度升溫，學生、民眾們有備而來，帶著鐵剪、用棍子、竹竿，推倒圍牆四周的拒馬，大批人馬翻牆進入教育部廣場，警方手持警棍、盾牌，圍住教育部主體建築門口，雙方對峙，狀況混亂。
由於反課綱學生林冠華自殺身亡，30日晚間，上百名反課綱群眾教育部前哀悼，一度還衝進立法院要求召開臨時會，立委聯署廢課綱，民進黨立法院黨團總召柯建銘、台聯黨團總召賴振昌都到現場聲援，承諾要求立法院長王金平進行朝野協商，聯署撤回課綱。
現場學生要求教育部部長下台，31日1點前必須給予回應，否則會有進一步的行動。遲遲得不到回應，31日1點半學生群眾推倒拒馬，但只待在廣場，高喊「吳思華下台」！
